NANNA meets Esther Meinel-Zottl

It only takes a glance at the work of Esther Meinel-Zottl, to see that she has a special talent for photography. Her photographs- all of which display a strong connection to nature – can be found on her instagram account @ourlifeinthealps. But there’s an interesting story behind her evolution towards being a sought-after photographer. As a child she was influenced by the social documentary photographs her farther used to take. Later, during her studies to become a social worker, she took up additional courses to specialise in social reportage / social photography, and today she photographs families in her home region in the Bavarian Alps. All of these themes play an important part in her collaborations with international magazines, brands and companies.
